Mantor Library
Off-Campus Access
It's possible to use many of the library's offerings from elsewhere, as well. Their are different possibilities, depending on what kind of library user you are. Please see below.
| UMF Students, Staff and Faculty | URSUS: The library catalog is a free, Web-based resource that can be accessed by anyone from anywhere. Databases: Your last name and library barcode number (all 14 digits with no spaces) are required to access subscription resources. If you do not have a library barcode on the back of your UMF ID, please see a staff member at the Access Services Desk. If you experience difficulties accessing the databases from off campus, please contact the library at 778-7210. |
| Community Patrons | URSUS: The library catalog is a free, Web-based resource that can be accessed by anyone from anywhere. Databases: Community patrons do not have access to the library’s subscription resources outside of the library. All Maine residents have free access to a set of databases for locating articles from a variety of publications on a variety of topics. For more information, visit MARVEL! Maine's Virtual Library. |
