Mantor Library
How To Find Your Way Around
Mantor Library has seven staircases, two basements and five levels. Finding your way around can be tricky. To help mitigate that trickiness somewhat, here's a complete overview of the different areas of the library.
| Floorplans | Get detailed pictures of each level of the library. |
| Book Basement | Books with call numbers beginning with the letters M, N, and P are shelved here, and you'll also find some group study rooms and an URSUS terminal. |
| Periodical Basement | Paper issues of some periodicals more than three years old are shelved here. Unfortunately, there is no elevator access to this area. If you need help or assistance, please contact a staff member. |
| First Floor | The main hub of the library, containing everything from the reference collection to the browsing room to the public access computers to access services. |
| Mezzanine | Books with call numbers beginning with the letters Q through Z are shelved here, in addition to all media items (DVDs, VHS, CDs) as well as equipment to view or listen to them. |
| Second Floor | Books with call numbers beginning with the letters A through L are shelved here, and you'll also find a quiet area, group study rooms, the map collection and the administrative offices of the library. |
| Third Floor | Contains the Juvenile/Young Adult section, the Peter Mills Electronic Classroom and Library Information Services. |
