You must login with your campus computer ID (which you get at the Computer Center’s Help Desk) to use any of the computers in the PMEC and all but two of the computers on the first floor.
From the first floor computers, you can print to the black and white laser printer located near the Reference Desk. In the PMEC on the third floor, you can print to the black and white laser printer by the instructor station. For both printers, a 3¢ per page fee will be automatically deducted from your laser printer account at the Computer Center. Both the PMEC and first floor computers can print to the color laser printer downstairs near the Reference Desk, which costs 12¢ per page.
Wireless Internet access is available to students with laptops that have been registered on the campus network. Students with EXCEL laptops may print to the printer near the Reference Desk.

A login is required to use any of the computers in the PMEC and all but two of the computers on the first floor. To qualify for a free computer account, you must be at least 16 years old, a permanent or seasonal resident of Maine, and able to provide a current Maine mailing address. You may pick up an account request form at the Access Services Desk. A computer account will allow you to use the library’s computers; it will not provide you access to the campus wireless network via your own laptop.
From either the first floor or third floor (PMEC) computers, you can print to the black and white laser printer located behind the Access Services Desk. You will be charged 10¢ per page when retrieving your printouts.
