New Site Coming!

Mantor Library's New Website

Starting June 15th, Mantor Library will be transitioning its website to a new format in preparation for Fall Semester.. Please be aware that this site is still under construction. Not all links work yet, and some sections of the site are incomplete. It's a work in progress, but you can help us perfect it in time for Fall. If you come across a section that's incomplete, displaying incorrectly, or has a broken link, please email us or make a suggestion.

During the transition, if you need to come back to this old site, there will be a large "back to the old site" button on the bottom of the new home page. However, please be advised that come 2010, the old site will disappear completely.

Highlights of the new site include:

  • Databases by subject--Researching an area you're unfamiliar with? There are more databases than just Academic Search Premier. Find out which fit the area you're researching quickly and easily.
  • Quick resource tab--All the most frequently used aspects of the library website are available right from the homepage.
  • Content that's easier to find--The current library website has a wealth of information, but it's often difficult to find what you're looking for. In the new website, you'll be able to see just what the site has to offer, without having to click around too much to find it.
  • Live chat assistance--Ask a librarian a reference question right from the webpage via our new chat window on our homepage.
  • Full integration with UMF's current website design.

If there are aspects of the site you think could be improved, we welcome your input. Thank you for your willingness to help!
